Photo Tribute to Andy Creagh

Andy Creagh (1953-2010)

Andy Creagh was part of the great Rockies team of the 70s and later captained Blackrock in the county finals of 1985 and 1986, both against Midleton. He was victorious in 1985. Andy became active in club administration and was Chairman of the Blackrock Hurling Club for a three year period in the late 80s, early 90s.

In 1999, he coached the Blackrock Juvenile team to the City title. In 2007, he was coach to the Blackrock Feile team which travelled to Kilkenny for the finals. This team won the County Championship also in 2007. Just last October, Andy saw this team capture the County Juvenile Championship and later the League title in a run of success that saw the team go unbeaten for 4 years.

Our deepest sympathy goes to his wife Liz, children, Andrew, Stephen, Sinead and Louise and his father Philip and extended family.
