Hurling Hall Development Report AGM 2003

Our Hurling Hall development is nearing completion and is truly a magnificent complex.

It will be a fantastic facility to have when opened in mid 2004.

We were fortunate to have been allocated €100,000.00 from the National lottery Sports grants thanks to the hard work of Charlie Barry & Co. and it is hoped that we will qualify for an additional grant when they are announced later on.

Unfortunately the fundraising for this project has proved far more difficult than originally envisaged. So far we have raised €90,126.48 of an original target of €200,000. This for me personally has been a huge disappointment as I believed that the target set was achievable.

I would ask the Members that have not yet enrolled in this fundraising project and are now in a position to do so to contact one of our Committee and we will supply any information that you may require.

We would also gladly welcome new Members onto the Committee to help us out and maybe bring some fresh ideas to this fundraising project.
