Senior Team Report AGM 2005

SENIOR HURLING REPORT.

2005 was a very disappointing year on the playing fields. Injuries to so many key players was a big factor and performance suffered as a result.

I would like to thank the Senior Hurling Players for their effort and support during the past year. Those players have brought much success and pride to our club during the past five years and if they can rekindle "the hunger" we won't be to far of the mark next year.

I would like to congratulate Wayne Sherlock, John Browne, Chris Murphy and Declan O'Sullivan on their All Ireland successes this year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people most sincerely:

To the Selectors, Alan Russell, Mossie Duggan, Jim O'Brien and Ger Murphy who have worked tirelessly for not just this year, but for the past 6 - 8 years, I thank them for all their help and support.

To Enda Ronan for his passion and enthusiasm in preparing the Senior Team. To Sinead Murphy for her work and professionalism through out the year, she was definitely the busiest person in the Club this year.

To Noel O'Flaherty, John O'Driscoll, Dr. Paddy Hayes, Richard Brown, Trevor Barry, Jim Cashman and Aidan Long for all their help. I would also like to thank Paul Tierney for helping us out with the training.

I would also like to thank Helen and Mary for their efforts this year, this work does not go un-noticed.

And finally to the Senior Committee, Roger & Tommy in particular, thanks for all your help.

yours sincerely,

Tom Cashman, Team Coach.
