Church Road redevelopment.
The plans for the next stage of the Church Road redevelopment are now on display around the club.
The plans encompass a floodlight all weather sand based pitch along with a hurling alley and wall complex
incorporating an astroturf pitch for the specific training of young hurlers in the skills of hurling.
All members are invited to make their views known to the Blackrock management committee over the next few weeks.
The plans will also be available on the Blackrock hurling website shortly and again comments are very welcome.
This phased development will see the construction of a state of the art hurling complex at Church Road to promote hurling
over the coming decades.
These plans represent a further vote of confidence by the Blackrock National Hurling Club in the future of the area
by the provision of top class sports facilities for the community throughout the wider Blackrock suburbs.
The Club is asking people to look at the plans and make their views known.
