THIS SECTION RELATES TO THE PERFORMANCE OF THE MINOR GROUP IN THE 2003 SEASON (1985/6 GROUP)

Minor Hurling Championship. 

Glen Rovers 3 --- 13, Blackrock 1 --- 10. 

The Rockies fought hard in this game and early in the second half came within a few points of the Glen, however the Rovers upped their efforts and pulled away in the end. At least 11 of the Blackrock starting 15 will again be eligible next year for this grade, so it was a fine performance by this minor team.

Minor Challenge:  

at Church Road.   Blackrock 1 --- 11  Ballinhassig 2 --- 11.

In a close match, Stephen O’Herlihy and John Barry played well for the Rockies.
