Cup Final 

Fianna 4 goals Firbolgs 2 goals 

The Fianna remained undefeated and are the Super League Cup Champions for 2002. Captain Joe Logue received the trophy from Mr. Joe Carey, Carey Tool Hire who sponsored the league. The Firbolgs fought all the way and Captain Ian O' Keeffe received the trophy from Timmy Murphy the Blackrock senior coach.

Plate Final 

Celts 1 point Craobh Rua nil 

The Celts are the Plate Champions having their first win. Eric Grimes , the captain received his trophy from Fergal Ryan and Alan Browne, while Liam Meaney presented Eamon Kelly with the runners up trophy.

Mr. Timmy Murphy, Blackrock senior coach had great praise for all the boys who took part and hoped they would continue to enjoy hurling with the Rockies. Every boy who participated received a special Super League medal

Round 3  Saturday 21st September 2002

Fianna 3 goals 1 point Craobh Rua 1 goal

The Fianna confirmed their top of the table ranking when they defeated the "Reds" in a thrilling encounter. Cathal Cormac and Brendan Couch were excellent for the Fianna as they qualified for the Cup Final. Evan Stokes and Jack O Donovan played very well for the Craobh Rua, which are in the Plate Final.

Celts 2 goals 2 points Firbolgs 4 goals

The Firbolgs booked their place in the Cup Final with a win over the very unlucky Celts in the second game. Niall Fitzgerald and Glen Stokes starred for the Firbolgs while David Parfrey and Kevin Sheehan played very well for the Celts team, which is now in the Plate Final.

Round 2  Saturday 14th September 2002

Craobh Rua 3 goals Celts 2 goals 1 point. 

The Craobh Rua team had an amazing fightback when 6-year-old Fiacre Kelleher scored a goal from a 35-metre sideline cut in the final minutes. Naoise Crowley and David King played their hearts out for the unlucky Celts.

Fianna 2 goals 1-point Firbolgs 2 goals. This top of the table clash was a very closely fought game with the result in doubt until the end. Eoghan O Connell had a great game for the Fianna while P.J. Green excelled for the Firbolgs

Round 1 September 7th 2002

Fianna 1 point Celts nil

This was a very close, low scoring match with the result being uncertain until the final whistle. The Fianna led by young Joe Logue got an early point and held this advantage until the very end. The brave Celts, captained by Eric Grimes fought very hard to get back on level terms.

Firbolgs 9 goals Craobh Rua 6 goals

In contrast to the first match, this one produced 15 goals. The Firbolgs captained by Ian O Keeffe attacked from start to finish, while Craobh Rua under the command of Eamon Kelly provided fantastic entertainment for the huge crowds.
