Under 8's and Under 9's The Under 8/9 SuperLeagues start Saturday June 7th ! The matches will be held for the next four Saturdays (on the 7th , 14th, 21st & 28th )
Finals of the under 8/9 Super leagues -June 28th 2003 The Sharks pulled off a major surprise by capturing the Super league cup for 2003, when they outclassed the Tigers, thus reversing the result of the previous week. The Wolves were much too good for the luckless Lions in the Plate Final. Blackrock Senior coach Timmy Murphy aided by the senior players, Fergal Ryan, Paul Tierney, Barry Hennebry and David Cashman, conducted the presentations of medals and trophies. Timmy gave great encouragement to the young Rockies, pointing out that all these senior players had themselves played in the famous Blackrock Parish leagues. The Club wishes to thank all who contributed to the success of the Super leagues, the players, coaches, referees, grounds people and the parents of the children for their cooperation.
