William Ahern Tournament 2005

William Ahern Cup Final.

Blackrock 2 --- 7  Bishopstown 2 --- 3.

Pride of place this week must go to the under 13 panel which won the William Ahern Tournament played at Church Road on Saturday 3rd September. After a huge days hurling during which this panel accounted for Mallow, Dungarvan and Eire Og (Ennis) they defeated a somewhat unlucky Bishopstown team in the final. Andrew Hayes, David O’Leary, Luke Fogarty and Eoin Hickey gave outstanding performances in what was a very good panel performance. Dungarvan won the Plate final.
