The
Super Leagues are sponsored by Carey Tool Hire. Super Leagues for those born in 2002 and 2001 - September 2009 The Super Leagues for boys born in 2002 and 2001 will begin on Saturday 5th September next. These will consist of 6 teams chosen from the boys in the coaching groups led by Fergus O’Brien and Donal O’Mahony playing a series of games over 4 weeks. Every boy who registered as a Rocky in 2009 has been included in the schedules which have been sent to them. As you have registered at some stage to hurl with the Rockies please let us know if you wish to take part as you may have forgotten to register this year. You can register any Saturday morning and you will be included in the teams. If you do not wish to play, that’s fine and enjoy whatever sport you are involved with and maybe you will play hurling next year with Blackrock. These will be fun super leagues where everyone plays and each boy who participates will receive a special Blackrock 2009 Super League medal to start his Super League medal collection. (A medal is awarded each year to boys who participate in the Super Leagues in Blackrock). These will consist of 4 teams chosen from the boys in the coaching group led by Pat Harrington playing a series of games over 3 weeks. Every boy who registered as a Rocky in 2009 has been included in the schedules which have been sent to them. As you have registered at some stage to hurl with the Rockies please let us know if you wish to take part as you may have forgotten to register this year. You can register any Saturday morning and you will be included in the teams. Super Leagues for those born in 2000 and 1999 - April 2009 Sponsored by Careys Tool Hire April 25th - Rounds 1 and 2 May 2nd - Round 3 and the Finals All Matches will be played on Back Pitch Morning Schedule Normal Training 10.00 to 10.30 First Match 10.45 to 11.15 Second Match 11.30 to 12 noon Matches will be 15mins per side with a quick change over.
